The miscreant Rajan Pardi, who robbed a perfume businessman’s house in Perfume City a year ago, was arrested during a police encounter on Monday morning. In this encounter, the miscreant was shot in the leg, after which he was admitted to the district hospital. According to the police, a reward of Rs 50,000 was declared on Rajan Pardi.

Let us tell you that the incident took place on the night of 29 June 2023, when a gang of miscreants robbed the house of perfume businessman Vimlesh Tiwari, who lives near the Kali Devi temple in Makrandnagar of Sadar Kotwali. During this, the miscreants held Vimlesh’s wife Anju and their three children hostage and looted them. According to CCTV footage, the number of robbers was nine to 10. Kannauj police had already arrested seven miscreants and sent them to jail, while Rajan Pardi was absconding. Police received information that Rajan’s movement was in Kannauj and surrounding areas.
